Competition Projects

Foreigner students regularly enrolled in a partner institution may conduct a semester in a competition project at UNIFEI.

The competition projects offer a unique opportunity for the students to fully understand and experience the entire process of an engineering project. Although the supervising professor provides some assistance, most of the work is conducted by the students.

The students are responsible to establish the specifications of their product (based on previous projects, competitions and creativity). Next, they must design their product and find the suppliers of parts and services. After that, they assemble the product and participate in the competitions to prove their effort. In order to perform those tasks, the students must obtain funding for the construction and participation in the competitions (a small portion can be obtained from the calls provided by UNIFEI).
