Robok

The Robok team is a research and extension group that develops autonomous robots for national and international robot soccer competitions, was founded in 2011 and is formed by students from several Unifei courses, covering the areas of marketing, management, mechanics, software and electronics.

Our work consists of developing robots capable of recognizing the environment where they are inserted, setting goals, planning and executing actions, interacting with the other players on the team and synchronizing the actions in order to print a collective and cooperative profile.
The activities involved in the development of robots are capable of generating high-level challenges and stimulating the search for solutions in the area of ​​mechatronics and artificial intelligence, thus allowing the multidisciplinary technical development of the members, encouraging teamwork.

Robok provides Unifei students with a good opportunity for extracurricular activities. Working at Robok, students hone key ideas for the makeup of a company, learning about marketing and management.

We are also responsible for the social project, Interação Robok, which aims to expand the knowledge of young people from public schools in Itajubá-MG by offering simple robotics classes, awakening the desire to learn more about robotics and technology, encouraging them to enter the path of science. and engineering.

We compete every year at LARC / CBR – Latin American and Brazilian Robotics Competition and at IROn CUP – Inatel Robotics National Cup, our main achievements were 4th place at LARC / CBR in 2013 and 6th place at CBR 2014 and 2015, competing in the category VSS – Very Small Size competing with more than 30 teams from renowned Universities from all over Brazil.
