Wrecking Ball

Wrecking Ball was founded in 2014 by students from the Federal University of Itajubá, it works with high performance concrete, aiming to allow students to deepen their knowledge about concrete, the base material of all construction, in addition to providing the development of skills, such as creativity, determination, team spirit, flexibility and others. In its first year of competition, in 2015, at the 57th Brazilian Concrete Congress, an event held by IBRACON (Brazilian Institute of Concrete), the team reached 9th place.

Currently the team is able to compete in 2 modalities, CONCREBOL and CONCRETO: who knows, do it live. In the latter, we work on the development of SCC (Self Compacting Concrete), which is considered by many to be the concrete of the future.
