Special Projects
Semester Project
The Semester Project offers a unique opportunity for the students to experience the research process to achieve a solution to real problems demanded by the industry. Although the supervising professor provides some assistance, most of the work is conducted by the students.
At the beginning of the semester the enrolled students receive a real problem provided by industry and have the opportunity to visit the industry to have a complete understanding to the problem and its context. Along the semester the students present their progress and are graded at the end of the semester.
